Safety & Wellness Programs

Thank you for your interest in Safety and Wellness!

NBSIA strives to be a valuable resource to our members. We offer many services intended to help reduce exposure to injury and illness and promote overall health to students and staff. These include:

Site Safety Surveys and Inspections

Regular and post-injury inspections are conducted. Recommendations for change will be made that are geared to preventing injuries.

Playground Audits and Inspections

Regular inspections of playgrounds are conducted to ensure compliance with safety requirements.

Ergonomic Evaluations

Upon request from the district office or NBSIA’s Workers’ Compensation Department, ergonomic evaluations will be performed in order to mitigate and prevent repetitive motion injuries.

Safety and Wellness Training

Training in a variety of safety-related topics is available to our members. We also offer online training courses in a variety of subjects that are available to all staff 24 hours a day.

Trend Reporting

Injury and accident data is continuously analyzed to identify trends and better address concerns and exposures specific to certain sites.
