Informs teachers about general safety techniques to use to help prevent injury while in the school environment .
Bloodborne Pathogens
Focuses on the use of universal precautions when encountering blood or bodily fluids at the worksite. Teaches proper cleanup and disposal methods.
Ladder Safety
Explains which ladder to use for specific situations and tasks, how to properly set up a ladder and teaches safe use of ladders to prevent injury and falls.
Back Injury Prevention
Teaches proper lifting techniques, body mechanics, procedures, stretching and strengthening exercises for back safety.
Hazard Communication
Informs employees about hazardous substances in the workplace, potential harmful effects of these substances and appropriate control measures.
Ergonomics in Special Education
Examines common tasks in the classroom and teaches specific methods to reduce
injury; including lifting/body mechanics and injury prevention.
Food Service Ergonomics
Uses ergonomic principles to teach employees to understand how their positioning, repetitive motions and tools can be changed to reduce injury.
Playground Inspector Training
Teaches employees the methods to use and hazards to look for when performing high frequency playground inspections.
