Monthly challenge – Flex Time
The Flex Time challenge invites you to stretch for 100 minutes during the month of April, which is about 3-5 minutes a day. Stretching is a natural impulse that is good for you, especially if you work at a desk for long periods of time. When you stretch it increases your blood flow and elasticity and decreases tightness in your tendons and muscles. When you feel emotionally stressed a short stretching break can do wonders. Simply lifting your arms overhead and create length in your body to give you a much-needed break. Try stretching each day and see how you feel!
