Employee Assistance Program

NBSIA provides a confidential Employee Assistance Program (EAP) through Optum to support employees and their household members with personal, family, and workplace challenges.

How to Access Optum EAP Services

Employees may be asked to provide:

  • Their Employer Name
  • or access code: WISE

What's Included

Confidential Counseling Support (24/7)

  • In-person, phone, or video counseling sessions
  • Support for:
    • Stress, anxiety and sadness
    • Family and relationship concerns
    • Workplace issues
    • Grief and loss
    • Substance use concerns
    • Response to traumatic events

Work & Life Services

  • Childcare and eldercare resources
  • Financial consultations
  • Legal consultations
  • Identity theft support
  • Help with everyday needs (housing, services, etc.)

Health & Wellness Resources

  • Online articles, videos, and tools
  • Well-being assessments
  • Self-guided programs

Additional Services

  • Critical Incident Response (CIR) services
  • On-site or virtual trainings
  • Monthly wellness resources and communications

All EAP services are confidential. Information is not shared with your employer.
