Training Registration FAQ
One of the many benefits of being a valued NBSIA Member are our training events. We host a wide variety of complimentary trainings for our members throughout the year to attend in person or virtually when permitted.
We've elected to use Eventbrite for managing our training events and registering for an event is simple and easy.
Please note that some of our current events are NOT linked to Eventbrite, so if you don't see the "Register" button or link in the Training Event description, please email memberservices@nbsia.org to request seats and complete your registration process.
To register using our self-service process, please just access the link to your desired training from our Training Calendar, select the event you'd like to attend and select the "Register" button and a modal will pop up where you can locate your member, select the number of seats you'd like to reserve and click register to complete the registration process. Once your registration is complete each attendee will receive a confirmation email and link to download tickets to their inbox.

Do I need an Eventbrite account to register for a NBSIA training event?
No, you do not need an Eventbrite account to register for a NBSIA Training, however if you need to make modifications to an existing reservation you will need to create an account to complete that process. Registering for an account on Eventbrite is quick and easy. Sign up for Eventbrite here!
What if there is no link or 'Register" button for my desired event? How do I register?
Not all NBSIA training events are currently set up through Eventbrite. If you don't see a link section underneath the event duration, then please contact memberservices@nbsia.org to submit your registration request. When submitting registration requests via email, please include the full names of all persons wishing to attend, the name of the school district or county office of education for which you are a NBSIA member and if you'd like to attend the event in person or virtually. If additional information is needed a NBSIA team member will reach out to you via email and you'll receive a confirmation including attendance details once processed.
How do I register for an event using the Eventbrite link?
For training events managed using Eventbrite, simply select the link which will open a page in a new tab and select the "Reserve a spot" button. From there find your Member, select the number of seats you'd like to reserve and complete the brief registration questionnaire and submit. Event tickets and updates will be sent to the attendees provided email addresses.
What if I want to attend virtually, but only in-person tickets are available?
Unfortunately, not all events can be streamed online for Zoom attendance. We do our best to offer virtual seats for NBSIA training events, but limitations do apply. If there's an event you'd like to attend but can't in-person, please reach out to memberservices@nbsia.org and we'll do our best to help.
I want to attend a Training Event but it says all seats for my Member are reserved.
While we do our best to make sure there are plenty of seats available for our training events, we do sometimes sell out. If this happens, you can always join the event's waitlist by emailing memberservices@nbsia.org. Please include the event details, your name, Member and number of seats you'd like in the message, and we'll do our best to accommodate your request.
